  • Ice Lolly sticks

2. Glue the squares together to make a box and then add more sticks to form the roof of the birdhouse.

3. Cut a circular hole in the front of the birdhouse using scissors or a craft knife.

4. Paint the birdhouse and let it dry completely.

5. Tie a string to the top of the birdhouse to hang it up.

2. Paper Plate Rainbows

What You’ll Need

  • Paper plates
  • Paint
  • Cotton balls
  • Glue

Instructions:

1. Cut a paper plate in half.

2. Paint one half of the paper plate in your desired colours in the shape of a rainbow.

3. Let it dry and then glue cotton balls on the bottom of each colour.

3. DIY Sock Puppets

What You’ll Need

  • Socks
  • Felt
  • Glue
  • Pens

Instructions:

1. Fill a sock with stuffing or cotton balls.

2. Cut out felt shapes to create the puppet’s features such as eyes, nose, and mouth.

3. Glue the felt shapes onto the sock to create the puppet’s face.

4. Use pens to add additional details such as eyebrows.

4. DIY Marble Run

What You’ll Need

  • Cardboard box
  • Paper tubes (toilet paper or kitchen towel rolls)
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Marbles

Instructions:

1. Cut out various sized holes in the sides of the cardboard box.

2. Cut paper tubes to fit the holes and tape them in place.

3. Cut small sections of the cardboard box to create “ramps” or “slides” and tape them to the inside of the box.

4. Test the marble run by rolling marbles down from the top of the box and making adjustments as needed.

What Youll Need

  • Embroidery thread
  • Scissors

Instructions:

1. Cut strands of embroidery thread in different colours.

2. Knot the strands together at one end, leaving a small loop.

3. Tape the knotted end to a surface to keep it in place.

4. Begin braiding the strands together, making sure to keep them tight as you work.

5. When the bracelet is long enough, knot the end and trim any excess thread.
