Mum, wife, full-time traveller

In January 2024 my husband and I left our life in Suffolk and set off around the world with our two boys.

We didn’t leave because anything was broken. We’d just felt unsettled for years, like we were waiting for a different kind of life to begin.

We had backpacked before and knew how much we loved travelling, so we finally asked ourselves what was stopping us. We pulled the boys out of school and nursery, packed up, and haven’t looked back.

Now we travel full time, and we do it slowly.

We would rather stay somewhere long enough to find our favourite café, learn which streets are the quiet ones and get into a routine than tick off a list of highlights.

Slow travel means the boys make friends, we can find our feet, and a new country starts to feel a bit like home.

It isn’t always easy, and I won’t pretend it is. There are tired days, rainy days, natural disasters and days when nothing goes to plan. But it’s the life we chose, and I’m still glad every day that we did.

What I Share

I share what this life is really like: the good days and the ordinary ones, the wins and the wobbles, and the unglamorous bits that don’t normally make it into a highlights reels on social media.

Think of me as a friend on the other end of a video call, telling you how our week went.

You’ll find me on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, sharing everyday life in each place we stay, from wandering a new neighbourhood to dishing up dinner.
